GC Insight prepared a Socio-economic ES Chapter to support a planning application for a residential-led urban extension on a Greenfield Site in Grantham. 

Our Role:​

• We carried out baseline analysis across a wide range of receptors that would be impacted by the development including population, housing supply, employment and the local economy, social and community infrastructure, and health;
• We provided bottom-up analysis of the capacity of existing education, health and community facilities;
• Our team prepared an impact assessment determining the significance of effects taking into account population and child yields and economic impacts as well as potential mitigation; and 
• We prepared a cumulative impact assessment.
