The Local London sub-regional partnership comprises of nine London Boroughs. GC Insight was commissioned to prepare a case making document to summarise the benefits of the area’s 15 priority transport projects. Its purpose was to persuade regional and national partners of the benefits of directing investment at these projects to support growth. ​

Our Role:

Through the project, we:

• Consulted with each of the nine London boroughs and key stakeholders to understand the case for investment, information available to support our work and other potential transport projects. ​
• Gathered information to help quantify the potential benefits which the 15 priority projects could unlock, helping to build a compelling case for their implementation. ​
• Analysed published business cases, strategic plans and insights from key consultations to identify the longer-term transport needs of the Local London area. ​

Outcome:

The report’s findings create a foundation for Local London’s ongoing discussions with Government, both national and regional, championing these investments. The report can be found here.
